Corpus
 
 A “Corpusd is a large collection of computerized language data, a resource necessary for every field that studies language, and a type of data that shows the essentials as well as the entire set of  variations of a language. The size of the Yonsei Institute of Language and Information Studies’ Corpus is approximately 88,790,000 words, and it is comprised of about 1000 volumes of 300-page books. Establishing the Yonsei Corpus began in the late 1980s, and in terms of data collection, the corpus went beyond the contemporary Korean written language and computerized various kinds of language data. The structure of the ‘Yonsei Corpus’ can be seen briefly in the following table
